Introduction

By: Richard | March 20th, 2008

OK first of all, I guess I should introduce myself; I’m Richard St.Ofle, I’m an artist, designer and an obsessive football fan. I’ll be writing the Saint-Étienne blog (yeah, I know — I’m coming in late in the season). I have my own site here.

Anyway, despite having lived in Paris for a few, I’ve been an ASSE man for years (get it?). I now live in Sacramento, where Saint-Étienne is huge. Every August 7th, (Loïc Perrin’s birthday) we have a parade in his honor.

I’m kidding of course. Living in Sacramento does afford me the luxury of wearing my team colors any day of the week without having to worry about being beaten up by Lyon fans, or our record this season, or our spot on the table, or news about who may or may not be going where next season. No one here knows/cares.

Anyway, please contact me with any questions, comments or whatever at etienne(at)theoffside(dot)com.

    Welcome!!!

I’ll hate you on derby days, but all other days, I’m always happy to welcome another L1 blogger! You have no idea how happy it makes me, actually. Hopefully the offside tech crew will get the look of your blog sorted out soon.

    :)

Also, I hope they get the blog address sorted out too. etienne.theoffside.com is kind of strange.

    Welcome Richard.
Nice website, I visited it once when you commented on the Marseille offside. You have someof my favorite youngsters in your team. Hopefully we’ll get along great aside from our confrontations.
And I’m gonna ignore the red for now

You’re best bet is to get in touch with Daryl, who manages the Offside (daryl[at]theoffside.com). He’ll get you in touch with the tech guys.

    Sainte.theoffside.com

Keep with tradition. ASSE have ALWAYS been known as Sainté in France.

All we need now is a Reims offside. And we’ll have all the european cup finalists france has.
